To accelerate the social implementation of trustworthy AI, IPRI are conducting R&D in the following areas: (1) assessing and improving AI system safety, fairness, and explainability; (2) advancing computing infrastructures from cloud to edge for efficient, secure data processing; and (3) enabling flexible cross-domain data platforms through generative AI. We are also contributing to developing AI safety guidelines and international standards.
